The manual, in run order

No search box, no accordions, no ticket queue standing between you and an answer. Six sections, ordered the way a run meets them. If what you need is not below, ask us.

Opening a run#start

signup to first output
Make an account, open Create, and put the whole request on one line. The first two stages hand back a script and a storyboard. Read them, correct whatever is wrong, then let the media stages and the render finish the work. Nothing is generated behind your back in between.
what you pick before stage one
A voice and the language it reads in — English, Greek, Russian, German, French or Spanish. One of four frame ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5. A target length for the narration to land inside, and a register for the writing to hold to. All of it stays editable while the run is open.
opening from a preset
A preset arrives with those fields filled in for a kind of job that is already known to work. You supply the line and nothing else. Anything the preset decided can be overruled once the run exists.

Halt points#halts

where a run parks itself
Twice, both times deliberately. Once when the storyboard is written and nothing has been drawn yet. Once more when every scene holds a picture and audio but nothing has been composited. Both stops wait on you, and neither of them expires.
regenerating one scene
A scene rebuilds on its own. Every other scene keeps the media it already has, and the credits already settled against them are not spent a second time.

Working the storyboard#scenes

moving a scene
Each scene carries Move scene up and Move scene down. A press swaps it with its neighbour and renumbers everything under it. There is nothing to drag.
what is editable inside one
The narration, the heading over it, the direction the picture follows, the hand-off into the scene after it, how long it holds, and its cue text. Duplicate and delete sit on the same row.
cue text
Cues come back with the media, timed against the audio that was actually produced rather than against the script that asked for it. Retype or retime any of them before the render. They are composited into the picture instead of shipped beside it, so nothing has to be switched on for the words to appear.

What the render emits#output

the file
An H.264 MP4 at 1080p in the ratio the run was opened with, behind a signed link, cues composited in and an SRT alongside it if you want the text on its own.
putting the render stage through twice
Editing after a render sends the render stage through again and writes a second file. The earlier one stays behind its link until the replacement lands, so there is no window in which you hold nothing.

Credit arithmetic#credits

the rates
Script and storyboard together reserve 10. Each scene takes 2 for its picture and its voice. The render takes 5. A five-scene, thirty-second run therefore settles near 25, and a new account is opened with 50 credits already sitting in it.
reserve, settle, release
A stage reserves what it needs before it starts and settles the reservation once it lands. A stage that fails releases instead — straight back to your balance, nobody asked, nothing filed. A broken render costs you nothing at all.

Paying for credits#billing

topping up
The Billing page takes the top-up. Its form prints both ends of the band it accepts and refuses anything outside that. Mastercard Payment Gateway Services performs the charge; the full card number and the security code never touch our own storage.
leaving a card on file
Ask for the card to be kept as you pay and it is vaulted at the gateway rather than in our database. What sits on our side is a token that only works through our own merchant account: enough for a one-click recharge or a monthly plan, worthless anywhere else.
monthly plans
A subscription issues a fixed allocation every month and prices each credit under what a one-off purchase costs. It changes nothing about how a run behaves. Cancel in one action: the next charge stops, and credits already issued for the current month stay in the balance until you spend them.
